Star of Deliverance was released yesterday. I dreamt about my book release day pretty much my entire life - envisioning limo rides and parties and probably New York City in some capacity. Instead, I spent my day snuggling my week old baby girl. And you know, it may not have been as glamorous, but it was even better than I imagined.
Writing has saved me. It pulled me out of depression and loneliness. It has given me goals, has boosted my self-worth and has introduced me to some incredible people. Star was written for the hundreds of people I hoped would read it someday, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that it was also written for me. So thank you, to those of you who already have or will support me in my writing. It means so much more than a thank you, so much more than I can even say, but since I can't find a better word, I'll just repeat it over and over. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Enjoy the gallery of images from sweet friends that sent me pictures of their copy. And please! Send me pictures of your copy - I would love to include them on my site.
